Salvelio Meyer has been a freelance photographer and videographer for the past 25 years. He studied Fine Arts at the university of Salamanca in Spain and later completed a B-Tech degree in photography at the PE Technikon, now the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. He has worked on high-profile photographic assignments for local, national and international publications, and has had his personal fine art work published in national and international magazines.
PixelWeekend intends to bring together creative people from every corner of the Eastern and Southern Cape, particularly those who want to develop their photographic skills. It is linked to the popular Pictures page in Weekend Post, where anyone who enjoys photography, whether the image was taken with a point-and-shoot cameras or something fancier, can join in and share pictures and experiences.
